Trampolining

October 3rd, 2009

Trampolining is one of our most popular courses. Trampolining is an exciting and fun way of improving strength, stamina and is an incredible teacher of co-ordination; small wonder physical therapists recommend trampolining to children with motor difficulties. Safety is our primary consideration and our list of safety procedures are put into practice before any trampolining takes place. Children are then taught how to bounce correctly, followed by individual moves with correct landing techniques. Following that, Trampolinists are then endlessly challenged with being given and creating sequences and routines. Advanced trampolinists understand what judges look for, how routines are scored and how to calculate the degree of difficulty in moves and routines. The science behind the moves and visual techniques are also taught.

The following classes are taught:

Baby Bounce
Ages 3 – 5
Junior Trampoline
Ages 5 – 11
Advance Trampoline
Ages 12

Jump for Joy Awards

Trampolinints have the opportunity to take our Jump for Joy Awards. Not only is this a great incentive scheme, it provides a systematic approach to trampolining. This also aids the coach and student with a check off list. There are many pre-requisite moves students must learn before attempting more difficult moves.

Multi-Sport holds Trampolining classes across the SAR, contact us to find out where.
