Soccer

The aim of our Soccer programme is to expand, develop and promote the game of football in Hong Kong by getting as many children as possible to play, enjoy and appreciate the beautiful game.

Our Soccer programme has integrated and adapted football programmes that include coaching methods from South America, Europe and other leading soccer platforms from around the world. Our classes address the realities of soccer in Hong Kong by providing players with a refreshing approach to learning and enjoying the games with the limited facilities available. Our Soccer programme has revolutionised the way football is coached in Hong Kong.

Our training methods are based on years of research that incorporate hundreds of age related skills, practices and games that are fun yet challenging. Once skills are acquired the children are challenged in low-pressure situations, culminating in high pressure competitive modified games. Our exercises can be adjusted to players of all abilities, all ages and all skill levels from the five year old to an adult player with a professional club. Thus our qualified teachers provide a systematic approach to learning football from the grass roots to moves and drills practiced by professionals.

For most of our programmes, when the venue allows it, players are given a specialised aged related soccer ball so that the exercises and skills taught can be practiced outside sessions. Our custom made team uniforms also add a professional cohesive look to our programmes. Players get to choose the number and name to be printed on the back of their shirt.

With our soccer programme children spend at least 80% of the lesson with quality ball time, learning the bread and butter of soccer – passing, receiving, dribbling and shooting. Competitive games are an important aspect of football however winning is de-emphasised. Teams are kept small and changed frequently.

As a way to keep the players enthusiastic we organise and run regular interclub tournaments, along with social events and holiday programmes.
